This Cochrane home located in the neighbourhood of Gleneagles had been purchased and lived in for many years by our clients before they reached out for design assistance.While they know this isn’t their forever home, they knew they needed the main floor to be maximized for function + upgraded for aesthetic with their young family and busy lifestyles. We maintained most existing walls as well as the kitchen cabinets + countertops, but added in new cabinetry for additional uppers in the kitchen, mudroom cubbies + laundry storage, and a vanity for the half bath. Through a thoughtful combination of mid-toned “wood” vinyl plank floors, patterned floor tile, two toned cabinetry, nickel hardware + plumbing fixtures, and oil rubbed bronze lighting we created a space that they love to call home. In addition to the renovation design we also provided a furniture + decor package to really pull all the layers together in achieving the cozy, traditional style our clients desired.
