This southwest Calgary home located in Cougar Ridge had a partially finished basement and roughed in bathroom that the clients needed finished. We reconfigured the basement plan slightly and provided full design for the bathroom. The clients wanted a mid century, boho vibe but we also wanted to ensure certain details were incorporated from other existing features of the traditional home. By combining the floating maple shaker vanity with grey tile floors, bright white countertops, brass wall sconces + black fixtures, and the statement navy herringbone shower tile, we were able to achieve the style they wanted without it feeling like it belonged in a completely different house.
